SENATORS RECEIVE CERTIFICATES OF RE-ELECTION FROM INEC

Certificates of Return were given to the successful candidates in Nigeria's senatorial elections on February 25, 2023, by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, on Tuesday.

At the International Conference Center in Abuja, Mahmood Yakubu, the INEC chairman, gave the new MPs their credentials.

Yakubu had claimed on Saturday that 423 legislative seats had been proclaimed winners.
