RIVERS GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION IS WON BY WIKE'S PDP



Similanayi Fubara, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, has been named the winner of the Rivers State governorship election.


The Returning Officer announced the results in Port Harcourt on Monday night, saying Fubara received 302,614 votes. Pastor Tonye Cole, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, came in second place with 95,274 votes.
