UCL: LIVERPOOL'S LIKELIHOOD OF DEFEATING REAL MADRID IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS 1% - KLOPP
Jürgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool, asserted that his club has a, "one percent chance" of overturning a 5-2 first-leg deficit against Real Madrid in their Champions League last-16 second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In the first game, Madrid rallied from a two-goal deficit to take a three-goal lead.
After losing 3-0 at Camp Nou, Liverpool memorably overcame Barcelona 4-0 in the second leg of the 2019 semi-final.
Klopp is still optimistic that his team will pull off another amazing victory.
"What I said after the game three weeks ago was that Madrid are through to the next round.
"But three weeks later, we know there is a game to play and if it is only a one percent chance, I would like to give it a try," Klopp said.
