During their tenure at Manchester United, Fernandes and Pogba played 78 games together on the same field.
Fernandes posted the following via his Instagram story: "Many many happy returns of the day brother. I miss playing alongside you."
The previous summer, Pogba left Man United to join Juventus for the second time in his career.
He has only made two appearances this season due to injury, playing a total of 35 minutes for the Turin club.
