VICTOR OSIMHEN IS NAMED BY ERIK TEN HAG TO REPLACE CRISTIANO RONALDO
Erik Ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has suggested Victor Osimhen of Napoli as a potential Cristiano Ronaldo successor.
Considering that the Portugal captain may depart Old Trafford in January, the Dutch manager has already begun making plans for life without him.
The request of the Portugal international to quit Old Trafford last summer was turned down.
Because there were no of attacking options, Ten Hag, who had joined the Red Devils from Ajax, wanted to keep Ronaldo.
However, the veteran's performances this season have fallen short of expectations, therefore the Dutch coach now needs another striker.
Whether he departs or remains, United is committed to finding a new center forward.
Osimhen is reportedly very high on Manchester United's list, according to The Evening News.
With nine goals in 13 games this season, the Nigerian international leads Serie A scoring
