NAPOLI WINS 3-2 THANKS TO OSIMHEN'S EIGHTH LEAGUE GOAL
At the Diego Amando Maradona Stadium on Saturday, Victor Osimhen scored once more as Napoli defeated Udinese 3-2 despite a late scare.
In the 15th minute, Osimhen gave Luciano Spalletti's team the lead after Elf Elmas set him up.
For the home squad, Piotr Zielinski and Elmas added two more goals.
Illija Nestorovski, a forward from North Macedonia, cut the deficit in half in the 79th minute to help Udinese get back into the game.
The goal was set up for Nestorovski by Isaac Success, another Nigerian.
Eight minutes remaining, Lazar Samardzic furthered the deficit reduction.
Osimhen participated throughout the entire game.
In his previous six Serie A contests, the 23-year-old has now scored seven goals.
The Nigerian international is presently leading the Serie A scoring rankings with nine goals despite missing a whole month of action due to injury
