DAVIDO IS STILL INCONSOLABLE AND HEARTBROKEN DAYS AFTER HIS SON'S PASSING
Pop musician Davido has remained distraught and unhealed for twelve days following the loss of his son Ifeanyi, hinting that it will take him a long time to forget the horrific incident from his memory.
Since last week, when the tragic news of his kid's death by drowning in a pool at his home on Banana Island sent the internet into a frenzy, Davido and his baby mama Chioma have been inconsolable, withdrawing into their shells to grieve for their lost son. The musician, who virtually ever logs off of social media, has subsequently avoided being in the open. Fans of the singer are hoping that he will quickly recover from the trauma and shock of his son's unexpected demise.
Davido's Instagram pages are still swamped with tributes to his late son to this day. On his social media pages, the artist has heartbreaking pictures of him playing for and loving on the late Ifeanyi. Particularly, the footage of Davido carrying Ifeanyi in the pool a few days before his passing still makes people feel sorrowful and lost.
Chioma, for her part, has remained silent ever since the tragic tragedy. However, it is believed that Ifeanyi's passing will only serve to enhance the bond that Davido and his fiancée have. In fact, a few days ago, the singer's order for a G-Wagon for Chioma to comfort her caused the internet to buzz. Additionally, he has pledged to descend, "Are We African Yet" (A.W.A.Y) festival billed to hold at the State Farm Arena, Georgia, Atlanta, the United States on November 18, in honour of his late son.
Top Nigerian acts like Kizz Daniel, Wande Coal, Lojay, Pheelz, Oxlade, BNXN (also known as Buju), Focalistc, and Victony were planned to perform at the festival.
The singer's management apologized to fans for the disappointment and pledged to make it up to them in a message posted on the festival's Twitter account.
It was part of Davido's intention, according to the statement, to spend more time with his family and loved ones during this trying time.
