BOEHLY DECIDES WHETHER TO BRING RONALDO TO CHELSEA

Todd Boehly

Todd Boehly, a co-owner of Chelsea, has no intention of signing Cristiano Ronaldo when he becomes a free agent.

When the 37-year-old sought to leave Manchester United in the summer, the Blues were frequently mentioned in connection with him.

Ronaldo's United contract has officially been canceled, and he can sign with a new team right away.

A source said: "Chelsea have gone cold on him, but if Todd Boehly decided to change his mind he would take some stopping."

Although Boehly has the money to buy Ronaldo, the UK Sun reports that he won't.

Although Thomas Tuchel, the manager at the time, was not a fan of Ronaldo, Boehly saw him as a blockbuster acquisition in his first transfer window.

Although Graham Potter has subsequently taken Tuchel's position, the Blues' enthusiasm has not returned.
