AMERICAN RAPPER 50 CENT PLANS TO CREATE A TV SERIES ABOUT HUSHPUPPI WHO WAS CONVICTED
Ramon Olorunwa Abass, also known as Hushpuppi, was convicted and will soon be the subject of a television series, according to popular American rapper and film producer Curtis James Jackson, better known by his stage name 50 Cent.
Hushpuppi, a Nigerian social media influencer, was found guilty of conspiring to launder money through a number of internet frauds and promoting a lavish, crime-funded lifestyle on social media. A United States District Court sentenced her to 11 years in prison on Monday.
However, just 48 hours after Hushpuppi's conviction, the producer posted a picture of the convicted fraudster along with the following message on his Instagram page: "For my scammers, I gotta do this one, Hushpuppy series coming soon."
In June 2020, local police and American operatives conducted a joint operation dubbed as Foxhunt that resulted in Hushpuppi's arrest in his flat in Dubai.
