TWO NIGERIANS WERE SENTENCED TO 40 YEARS

Two Nigerians were sentenced to 40 years in prison for robbing a mobile money vendor in Ghana

Bright Okwara and Ferdinand Obi, both Nigerians, were sentenced to 40 years in prison with hard labor for armed robbery in Ghana's Central Region.

On Monday, October 3, His Lordship Ebenezer Osei of the Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court sentenced them after they were found guilty of robbing a mobile money vendor in broad daylight on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

The convicts are said to have carted away a total of GH11,800 after the victim allegedly withdrawn the money from a bank in Kasoa.

The two Nigerians were on motorcycles, watching the victim's activities after he withdrew the money from the ATM.
