SUPER EAGLES COACH, PESEIRO KEEN TO FACE PORTUGAL IN FRIENDLY
Jose Peseiro, the Super Eagles' head coach, is looking forward to the team's friendly against his native Portugal.
The three-time African champions will face Portugal in their next friendly on November 17 in Lisbon.
On Tuesday night, the Super Eagles were defeated 2-1 by Algeria's Desert Foxes in Oran.
Peseiro is already looking forward to the highly anticipated game, in which his team will face Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Jota, and others.
"I am happy to play against Portugal. It is my country," he told NFF TV.
"We will do a good match.
"I hope the players who are injured recover (in time for this match).
"I will choose the best players, but I hope no big injuries in the team."
In five games under the former Venezuela and Saudi Arabia coach, the Super Eagles have won two and lost three.
