Anambra woman arrested for murdering her maid and burying her body in a bush

The Anambra State Command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has arrested a woman who has yet to be identified in connection with the brutal murder of her maid.

According to reports, the suspect was apprehended this week after beating her maid to death and then disposing of the body in a nearby bush.

The culprit

The details of the incident are still sketchy, but a video posted online shows the suspect leading NAPTIP officials to the bush, where the already decomposing corpse was discovered.

"I beat her and she started convuIsing so took her to Kings (hospital). Getting there, she died, so threw her body here," she said in the video.
