PDP CRISIS: WIKE, ORTOM, MAKINDE, AND TWO OTHER GOVERNORS REFUSED TO ATTEND CAMPAIGN INAUGURATION

Following the crisis that has rocked the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governors in Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike's camp boycotted the official inauguration of the party's Presidential Campaign Council on Wednesday.

Governors include Benue State's Samuel Ortom, Oyo State's Seyi Makinde, Enugu State's Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Abia State's Okezie Ikpeazu, and Wike.

Other stakeholders thought to be loyal to Governor Wike were also absent from the inauguration, which took place on Wednesday at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The remaining PDP governors who support the party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, did attend the event.
