In Bauchi, a 32-year-old herbalist was arrested for raping the mother of a sick patient
The suspect was apprehended on Tuesday, September 6, after the victim's husband, Yalda Istifanus, filed a report at Tafawa Balewa Divisional Police Headquarters.

"The victim's husband revealed that his daughter was sick on September 3, 2022, and that despite medical treatment, her health status did not improve."
On September 5, 2022, he decided to take her to the aforementioned Monday Ishaku, who informed the husband that his wife Rejoice Yalda is to blame for their daughter's illness because she is a member of a secret society and promised to treat both the mother and the daughter at night.
"In light of this, the suspect deceived the desperate health seekers and committed a heinous act," according to the statement.
