HERBALIST WAS ARRESTED ALONGSIDE A PASTOR AND ALFA FOR EXHUMING

An herbalist was arrested alongside a pastor and Alfa for exhuming and cutting off the head of a woman's corpse at an Osun State cemetery

Ismail Adewuyi, a 28-year-old vulcanizer and self-proclaimed herbalist, was arrested by police in Osun State after being found in possession of a freshly-cut woman's head and intestines in the Ede area of the state.

The suspected ritualist was arrested on Saturday by one Isa Usman, a member of the Nigerian Hunters Association, who took him to the police, according to the police command's image maker, SP Yemisi Opalola.

She went on to say that Adewuyi was apprehended by the hunter near a cemetery. Opalola also stated that police had begun questioning the suspect. According to one source, "He attended the burial ceremony of the woman's corpse he exh med last week. We heard he has been doing this four years. A fake pastor and an Islamic cleric were arrested too in connection with the case.
