SECURITY GUARD ALLEGEDLY KILLED A TENANT RETURNING FROM A HANGOUT IN FRONT OF HIS HOUSE IN OSUN STATE
Badmus Mohammed, 40, was assassinated by a security guard in Osun State
On Saturday, he was allegedly shot dead by a night guard at Ibuowo Estate in Okinni, Egbedore Local Government Area, Osun State. According to reports, Rasaq Moshood, the guard, shot Mohammed, a tenant known as Lasgidi deed, with his dane gun.
Kazeem Jimoh, the deceased's landlord, told Newsmen that he was at a bar with the deceased until midnight on Friday before being called on the phone about his death. Kazeem claims that his tenant was killed in front of the house while his door was left open.
SP Yemisi Opalola, a police spokesperson, confirmed the incident. She mentioned that three night guards were apprehended with their dane guns. In her opinion. "One Babatunde Olumide, Chairman of Ibuowo Estate Okinni, reported at Dada Estate Divisional Police Headquarters that their night guard, one Moshood Rasaq, used his dane gun to sheet one Mohammed Badmus, who died instantly." The suspect has been apprehended, the gun used has been recovered, and the body has been transported to the morgue.
