A PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED MAN FROM ITALY ARRESTED AT LAGOS TRAFFICKING TRAMADOL

A physically challenged man on his way to Italy was arrested at Lagos International Airport for trafficking 5,000 tramadol tablets


Ehiarimwiam Osaromo Emmanuel, 53, a physically challenged man, has been arrested for drug trafficking by NDLEA operatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.

According to the agency's spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, the suspect was apprehended on his way to Italy via Doha on a Qatar Airways flight on Sunday, August 28th. He was discovered to have hidden 5,000 tramadol (225mg) tablets in his luggage.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect is a frequent traveller who frequently travels with a large number of bags containing mostly food, body cream, hair accessories, and drinks. The suspect was said to have presented NDLEA agents with his usual large consignment.
