PAUL POGBA 'WAS TRAPPED BY TWO MEN WITH ASSAULT RIFLES WHO DEMANDED £11M'
Paul Pogba, a midfielder for Juventus and France, has accused his brother Mathias of being a member of an organized gang that has targeted him for theft worth €13 million.
According to the news agency AFP, the 29-year-old made this known on Sunday, August 28, in a statement that was signed by his counselors, his mother, Yeo Moriba, and his agent, Rafaela Pimenta.
This comes after 32-year-old Mathias, who promised "big discoveries" regarding the World Cup champion and Pimenta in a video posted online in four different languages.
According to Mathias Pogba on Saturday, "The whole world deserves to know certain things so the public can decide whether Paul Pogbal really deserves the admiration, the respect, and his place in the France team, as well as whether he is a trustworthy individual and deserving of representing the world's youth, working-class areas, and major brands.
The tapes, according to the statement, "It continued, "They are in addition to threats and extortion efforts by an organized gang targeting Paul Pogba, which is regrettably no surprise. There won't be any more statements regarding the current inquiry after the appropriate authorities in Italy and France were alerted a month ago."
According to France Info, Paul Pogba is believed to have claimed that he was cornered by boyhood pals and two hooded guys with assault guns during an incident in Paris during many interviews with the authorities.
He claims that the group, of whom his brother Mathias would be a member, sought 615 million from him and has repeatedly threatened him, notably at the Juventus training facility in Turin, where he revealed this to be the case.
