ASUU AGAIN EXTENDS ITS ONGOING STRIKE

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has voted to extend its ongoing strike following several contentious debates.

The choice was made following the National Executive Council meeting on Monday morning at the union's headquarters at the University of Abuja.

At the University of Lagos, ASUU had declared the start of a strike for Monday, February 14, 2022.

Ben Goong, the Federal Ministry of Education's spokeswoman, said in an interview that the administration has done everything it could to put an end to the strike.

He spoke. The government has already established a committee to harmonize the IPPIS, UTAS, and UP3 with reference to the following measures. This will guarantee that the government will pay using just one platform for payments.
