CAF DOPING OFFICER DR JOSEPH KABUNGO

CAF Doping Officer Dr Joseph Kabungo, who was in charge of the Nigeria and Ghana match has been reported dead in Abuja.

The CAF official reportedly died after violence erupted as the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.

Dr Joseph Kabungo, a Zambian medical practitioner, is reported that have lost consciousness after he was beaten and stepped on as fans try to make their way out of the stadium due to stampede. In a post on Twitter by British Nigerian journalist Osasu Obayiuwana, his death was confirmed after he was rashed to the hospital.
