Google recently released the results of its 2021 Year in Search, which highlight the most popular phrases, topics, and inquiries among Nigerians in 2021.

Each year, Google creates a list of the moments, people, ideas, events, and locations that captivate the world's attention.

According to a press release seen by Nairametrics, some of the most searched terms, names and trends include Afrobeat singer, Tiwa Savage, Euro 2020 football tournament, lyrics to Joe Boy's latest hit single, 'Alchohol,' amongst others.
