SOUND SULTAN, NIGERIAN MUSICIAN, IS DEAD

The Nigerian entertainment industry is in mourning as Veteran singer, Olanrewaju Gantu Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan is dead.

Sound Sultan's death was announced in a statement Sunday morning by his family.

He was 44.

The family said Sound Sultan died on Sunday of Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma - cancer of the blood.

He is survived by a wife, three children and his siblings.
