Inter put derby disappointment behind them with routine win over Feyenoord...

Inter Milan made it 14 Champions League games unbeaten against Dutch opposition with a dominant 3-0 victory over Feyenoord at De Kuip.

Eager to avoid back-to-back defeats for the first time since November, Inter flew out of the blocks and broke the deadlock after just eight minutes. Djed Spence picked out Yann Bisseck, who showed great composure for a defender with a superb turn and curling finish into the bottom corner.

The visitors dominated the opening stages and Tjark Ernst denied them a quick second when he kept out Federico Dimarco's deflected effort at the back post. Marcus Thuram then tested the goalkeeper from distance, before Inter finally doubled their lead after the half-hour mark. Spence's deflected shot looped up for Francesco Pio Esposito, who headed in off the underside of the crossbar.

Feyenoord barely troubled the Nerazzurri in the first half, with their best opportunity falling to Anis Hadj Moussa, who prodded goalwards from close range only for Josep Martinez to gather comfortably.

Aside from that brief scare, Inter were in complete control and put the game to bed just nine minutes into the second half. Piotr Zielinski rifled a superb strike from the edge of the area in off the post to make it 3-0. The visitors thought they had a fourth after the hour mark when Esposito tapped home Dimarco's cross, but the goal was ruled out for offside.

By then the hosts were playing for pride and captain Luciano Valente attempted to lift the home crowd with a long-range effort, but Martinez saved comfortably. Inter were content to sit deep and conserve energy with the result beyond doubt, while Feyenoord still struggled to create anything of note as they slipped to their first home defeat of the season.

Inter responded well to their Derby della Madonnina defeat, claiming just their second win in their last five Champions League away games.
