Panthers stay hot, Senators steal late win in Buffalo...
The Florida Panthers made NHL history on Wednesday night, becoming the first team to win in the league's new Hometown Remix uniforms after edging the Chicago Blackhawks 5-3.
Elsewhere, the Ottawa Senators produced a dramatic third-period comeback to silence the Buffalo Sabres and steal a statement win on the road.
Vilmanis Erupts As Panthers Edge Blackhawks
Sandis Vilmanis delivered the best game of his young career to power the Panthers past the Blackhawks, finishing with two goals and two assists for a four-point night. It was a new personal best for Vilmanis in goals, assists and points in a single game, after he had never previously managed more than one goal or one assist in a game since debuting back in January.
Sam Reinhart and Carter Verhaeghe both found the net once to stay tied for the team lead with nine goals each this season. Reinhart has now scored in four straight games and has eight points in his last five, while Verhaeghe stretched his own point streak to five games.
Seth Jones also kept his hot start going, scoring his third goal of the season to bring his tally to 19 points in just 16 games.
For the Blackhawks, Connor Bedard picked up two more assists, giving him six in his last six games. He has now recorded at least one point in every game this season except one, the October 17th loss to the Dallas Stars.
Frank Nazar finally ended his seven-game goal drought with two goals in the game. Before the matchup, Nazar had managed just one point during that cold stretch.

Senators Rally Late To Stun Sabres
The Buffalo Sabres took a 1-0 lead into the third period thanks to Peyton Krebs' first goal of the season. But the Ottawa Senators flipped the game with goals from Shane Pinto and Michael Amadio.
Pinto has now scored in four of his last five games, while Amadio has found the net in back-to-back games. Goaltender Samuel Ersson was solid again, allowing just one goal for the second straight game, this time stopping 23 shots.
It was the fourth straight game in which the Sabres carried a lead into the third period, having won the previous three. Before that run, Buffalo had started the season with 11 straight games where they were either losing or tied heading into the final period.
