Behind a 4-1 win over the Reds on Monday, the Los Angeles Dodgers booked their place in the playoffs while aiming for a third consecutive World Series championship.
The Dodgers’ 91-59 mark means they’re into the playoffs with 12 games remaining. Now they turn their focus to becoming the first team this century to win three straight World Series.
Along with Milwaukee, the Dodgers are currently positioned for a top-two seed in the National League, granting them a first-round bye and hosting rights in the division series.
Tampa Bay has already qualified for the postseason in the American League.
After beating Toronto for the 2023 championship and New York in 2024, the Dodgers are going for three in a row.
