Kansas City Chiefs rookie WR Cyrus Allen was forced out of Saturday’s practice after a collision with teammate Kaiir Elam during a special teams punt drill.

The 23-year-old was a fifth-round selection in this year’s draft from Cincinnati. As a senior, he led all Big 12 receivers with 13 TD catches.

Allen was carted off the field and taken to the locker room for further evaluation. Elam walked away from the collision without injury.

Video from practice showed an emotional Allen as he was taken off the field.
