Chelsea have wrapped up a deal for Brighton forward Danny Welbeck. The 33-year-old has signed a two-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Welbeck joins after rediscovering his form with Brighton. The England international first made his name at Manchester United’s academy and later spent five seasons with Arsenal.

He moved to Arsenal in 2014 and spent five years there, netting 32 goals in 126 games in all competitions. He then had a single season with Watford.

Welbeck signed for Brighton in 2020 and established himself as a central player for the Seagulls on the south coast.

Internationally, he scored 16 goals for England over an eight-year career with the Three Lions.
