PSG beat Arsenal to claim back-to-back Champions League trophies. At Sunday's Eiffel Tower celebration, Dembele vowed the club would return for a three-peat...
PSG forward Ousmane Dembélé told fans at the Eiffel Tower on Sunday that the club will target a third straight Champions League title next season, as supporters celebrated back-to-back European wins for the city.
“Thank you all for your support. We’ll be back next year with the third one,” Dembélé told the crowd. The fans danced to Daft Punk’s “One More Time” while the players paraded the trophy they won against Arsenal on Saturday.
The celebration turned calm once showers cleared and the sun came out. That was a sharp contrast to overnight scenes in Paris, where post-match violence left more than 200 injured and one person dead.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi called on supporters to keep the celebrations peaceful. “Celebrate calmly tonight. Protect our city, that's very important,” he said.

The PSG squad gathered on the Champ de Mars, the huge open space below the Eiffel Tower, before heading to the Élysée Palace for a meeting with President Emmanuel Macron.
Fan Mathias Oumraou told Reuters he could not miss the parade after what he described as the best night of his life in Paris. Another supporter, Cheyenne Barbachou, said she still could not believe the back-to-back victory. “It's incredible,” she said.
