Sirius Vs Orgryte
Sirius defeats Orgryte

Isak Bjerkebo netted his 7th and 8th goals of the season in Sirius’ 2-0 win over Orgryte. The Uppsala side now have 19 points from 21 and lead Allsvenskan by five.

Sirius remain unbeaten and five points clear after Bjerkebo’s second-half brace sank Orgryte 2-0 in Allsvenskan round seven...

Bjerkebo’s brace sealed a 2-0 victory for Sirius against Orgryte in the final match of round seven, pushing Sirius five points clear at the top of the 2026 Allsvenskan table once again.

Sirius’ blistering start to the season shows no signs of slowing. The win keeps them firmly in control at the summit after seven rounds.

After winning their opening five games, Sirius were held to a draw at Hacken last time out to keep their unbeaten record intact. With six of the other top-seven sides picking up wins this weekend, the league leaders needed a response.

Sirius controlled around 67% of the ball in the first half, but Orgryte still looked threatening on the rare occasions they had it. Jerome Tibbling let a good chance slip for the visitors.

Sirius struggled for accuracy despite taking 17 shots, with only three hitting the target. One of those proved decisive six minutes before halftime. A cross from the left wasn’t cleared by Mikael Dyrestam and fell to Isak Bjerkebo. He created space for himself and drilled a low finish across the goalkeeper into the bottom corner to open the scoring.

Neo Jonsson had an opportunity to seal the win in a more balanced second half, but with 17 minutes remaining it was Bjerkebo who struck again to decide the contest.

Joakim Persson chased a long ball down the right flank, beat his defender, and cut it back for Bjerkebo, who sent it past the goalkeeper and into the roof of the net. The goal was his eighth in seven Allsvenskan appearances this season.

The Uppsala club now sit on 19 points from a possible 21, holding a five-point advantage over Hammarby and Elfsborg. For Orgryte, it marked a fourth loss in five games, and they remain in the relegation zone after being passed by Kalmar earlier in the weekend.
