Victor Froholdt capped off a perfect first season in Portugal by sweeping Liga Portugal’s top honors. The 20-year-old Danish midfielder won both Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year after helping FC Porto clinch the league title.
The awards are voted on exclusively by coaches and captains from the top division. They were handed out Saturday night, right after Porto’s win over Santa Clara at the Dragao.
