Dressing Room Fracture: Real Madrid Faces Internal Crisis Before El Clasico

A heated fight, a fractured squad, and growing fan backlash: Real Madrid’s locker room turmoil couldn’t come at a worse time with Barcelona looming on Sunday.

With multiple players reportedly refusing to speak to Alvaro Arbeloa and an “Mbappe Out” petition gaining traction, Real Madrid’s internal issues threaten to derail their season...

The atmosphere in the Real Madrid dressing room has turned volatile following what sources describe as a “very serious” altercation between the two midfielders that left Valverde requiring hospital treatment.

According to Marca, the incident was significant enough that several teammates had to intervene, and it far exceeded the severity of an earlier altercation on Wednesday.

Insiders say the row began when Valverde refused to shake Tchouameni’s hand during the morning session. That sparked a tense atmosphere throughout training, which ended with the Uruguayan taking a heavy blow and being taken to hospital.

The dreasing room clash isn’t Real Madrid’s only issue. An earlier report on Thursday stated that up to six players have stopped speaking with Alvaro Arbeloa.

Ongoing controversy around Kylian Mbappe has added to the tension, with millions of fans backing an “Mbappe Out” petition.

None of this bodes well ahead of Sunday’s El Clasico against Barcelona, and it underscores why Florentino Perez may need to make sweeping changes this summer.

Tchouameni has also been central to the growing friction.
