Victor Wembanyama exited San Antonio’s playoff game against the Portland Trail Blazers early Tuesday after suffering a head injury in the second quarter.
The French star was ruled out for the rest of the game after stumbling and hitting his head on the court following a collision with Portland’s Jrue Holiday.
Wembanyama looked dazed as he lay on the floor before slowly getting to his feet and jogging off to the locker room.

The Spurs later confirmed Wembanyama entered concussion protocol and would not return for Game 2 of the Western Conference playoff series.
The 22-year-old’s injury came a day after he was named NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
Wembanyama scored 35 points in San Antonio’s Game 1 win over Portland on Sunday.
