| Gold slips from AGF's grasp after late collapse at Midtjylland |
Title race on: Midtjylland beat leaders AGF 2-1 with two goals after the 84th minute to move within two points at the top.
Jakob Poulsen’s high-pressing AGF led 1-0 and looked set for gold, but Midtjylland’s crazy late finish won it 2-1...
A major error from AGF keeper Jesper Hansen and two goals in the final six minutes flipped the game as FC Midtjylland turned a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 win. The result pulls them within two points of AGF at the top with five games left.
AGF took a 19th-minute lead and looked in control. But Jesper Hansen’s costly mistake and a stoppage-time winner from Julius Emefile sealed a wild 2-1 comeback for FC Midtjylland in Herning.
AGF’s lead at the top is now just two points with five rounds left this season.
It was a nightmare finish for AGF. They were the better side for long spells but threw it away late.

With six minutes left, keeper Jesper Hansen punched the ball into his own net. Two minutes into stoppage time, substitute Emefile flung himself at a cross and headed past Hansen to snatch an improbable win for the hosts.
AGF had opened the scoring in the 19th minute. A free kick was flicked on to the arriving Henrik Dalsgaard, who needed two attempts to drill it past Midtjylland keeper Elias Olafsson from close range.
The goal was initially ruled offside, but VAR showed the flick-on to Dalsgaard came off a Midtjylland player.

AGF boss Jakob Poulsen set up with high pressure and man-marking across the pitch. It worked for most of the match as the disciplined visitors had the title in sight, only to lose it all late.
