Fiorentina stretched their unbeaten run in Serie A to five games (W3, D2) and moved eight points clear of the relegation zone after Robin Gosens’ first-half goal secured a 1-0 victory over Lazio at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.


Even though Lazio’s away games have been typically tight before the break, with just five first-half goals across their 15 league trips this season, it was the visitors who controlled the early exchanges.
