Packers give WR Jayden Reed $50.25M extension

After a Wild Card exit, Green Bay extended Jayden Reed through 2029. The Packers have no first-round pick and select 52nd and 84th on Day 2 of the 2026 draft...

The Green Bay Packers locked up wide receiver Jayden Reed on Friday with a three-year, $50.25 million extension that includes $20 million guaranteed.

Reed, 25, appeared in just seven games last season due to a Week 2 broken collarbone. He’s set to make $2.2 million this season before the new deal starts next year, keeping him with Green Bay through 2029.

Reed finished last season with career lows of 207 yards, 19 catches, and one touchdown due to the injury. He missed back-to-back 800-yard seasons in his first two years by just seven yards in 2024, after posting 793 yards in 2023. He scored at least six touchdowns in both 2023 and 2024.

The extension follows Green Bay’s decision to let Romeo Doubs leave in free agency and trade Dontayvion Wicks to the Eagles.

Green Bay went 9-7-1 in the 2025 season before exiting in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

Without a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Green Bay’s first selections will come on Day 2 at No. 52 and No. 84 overall on April 24.
