Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin made NHL history as the Pittsburgh Penguins crushed the Florida Panthers. The duo became the first teammates to each record at least a goal and three assists in the same game since 2011.


The Penguins put up a whoping nine goals, with Crosby and Malkin leading the charge.

The Penguins unloaded for six goals in the third period as both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin marked their names in the record books during the team's big win.

Sidney Crosby officially surpassed Steve Yzerman to move into seventh on the all-time points list, recording his 1,756th point. This milestone cements Crosby's position as one of the greatest players in NHL history.


Evgeni Malkin reached 1,400 career points, becoming just the 23rd player in NHL history to achieve this feat. He scored his 14th career hat trick and added an assist, finishing with four points. The Penguins are currently second in the Metro Division with 94 points. Meanwhile, the Panthers have been eliminated from playoff contention, now focusing on wrapping up their season.

Ottawa dropped to 39-27-10, keeping the Eastern Conference Wild Card race tight. The Senators will look to close the gap as the season nears its end. 


Perreault's Hat Trick Lifts Rangers Past Red Wings 4-1

Gabe Perreault scored his first career hat trick, netting goals 8-10 of the season, as the Rangers beat the Red Wings 4-1. Detroit is now in a four-way fight for the second Wild Card spot in the East, while the Rangers have been eliminated from playoff contention with a 32-36-9 record.


Capitals Surge Past Sabres 6-2, Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

The Washington Capitals moved to 87 points in the standings, just one point out of the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference, after defeating the Buffalo Sabres 6-2. Despite the loss, the Sabres clinched a playoff berth for the first time in 14 years, ending their historic drought.




Logan Thompson Shines in Net for Capitals

Goalie Logan Thompson was the star of the game, making 37 saves - tied for second-most this season - to help the Capitals secure the win. Thompson's impressive performance helped Washington overcome an early deficit and ultimately take control of the game.




Lightning Surge Past Bruins 3-1 Behind Raddysh's Record Goal

Casey Mittelstadt gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead with his 15th goal of the season, but Tampa Bay stormed back with three unanswered goals in the third period. Darren Raddysh scored his 21st goal, breaking the franchise record for most goals by a defenseman in a season.


Tampa Bay (48-22-6) has clinched a playoff spot, while Boston (43-26-8) sits in the top Eastern Conference Wild Card spot with 94 points. 



Islanders Fall to Hurricanes 4-3, Lose Fourth Straight Game

Despite a late goal from Anders Lee to cut the lead to one in the third period, the Islanders couldn't rally and have now lost four straight games as the Eastern Conference playoff race heats up. 




The Islanders are 3-7 in their last 10, sitting with 89 points and third in the Metro Division. Seth Jarvis led the Hurricanes with a pair of goals, tying his season-high from last year with 32 goals. He needs just two more to set a personal best. The Canes have 104 points and a comfortable lead in the Metro, likely securing the division title.


Kings Stun Maple Leafs 7-6 in Thrilling Comeback Win

The Kings rallied from behind three times to defeat the Maple Leafs 7-6, keeping their Western Conference Wild Card hopes alive. LA trailed 2-0, 3-2, and 5-4 before Artemi Panarin tied it 3-3 with his 27th goal.




The Kings trailed 4-3 but scored three straight to take a 6-4 lead. Toronto rallied to tie it 6-6, sending it to overtime. Quinton Byfield scored his 20th goal of the season in OT to seal the win. LA has 81 points, while Toronto's season is over. 


Canadiens Edge Devils 4-3 in Shootout Thriller

Montreal led 3-0 but the Devils rallied with three straight goals to send it to OT. The teams were tied 3-3 after overtime, with the win decided in the shootout. Cole Caufield, Ivan Demidov, and Oliver Kapanen scored for the Habs.


The Canadiens have won eight straight, sitting third in the East. The Devils are likely done in the playoff hunt, with elimination imminent. 


Jets Spoil Blue Jackets' Playoff Push 2-1

Kyle Connor scored both Winnipeg goals, putting him four shy of back-to-back 40-goal seasons. Columbus was held to 16 shots.


The Blue Jackets now tie Ottawa, Detroit, and Philly with 88 points in the Eastern Conference Wild Card race. 



Keller's Hat Trick Fuels Mammoth's 7-4 Win Over Canucks

Clayton Keller scored his third career hat trick, bringing his season total to 25 goals. He needs five more to make it four straight 30-goal seasons.




Utah has 86 points, sitting comfortably in the top Western Conference Wild Card spot. The Canucks have lost seven of eight, with a league-worst 22-46-8 record.


If Vancouver doesn't win another game, it'll be their fewest wins since 1972-73.
