Kevin Durant led the Houston Rockets to a thrilling 119-105 comeback win over his former team, the Phoenix Suns, scoring 24 points and making five 3-pointers. The Rockets trailed by as much as 21 points but stormed back with a 30-12 run in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.


Durant received a mixed reception from the Suns' home crowd, with some fans booing him throughout the game. Despite the hostile atmosphere, Durant delivered a strong performance, helping the Rockets sweep the four-game season series against the Suns.




Phoenix needed a win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive in the Western Conference. They got off to a blazing start, storming to a 21-point lead in the first quarter against a stunned Rockets team.



“They hit us with a good punch early on...I love how we weathered the storm and stayed together and took that first punch,” Durant said.


“It's a great team win.”


The Minnesota Timberwolves secured the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with a dominant 124-104 win over the Indiana Pacers. Ayo Dosunmu led the charge with 24 points, while Julius Randle and Bones Hyland added 19 points each.


Minnesota took control early, overcoming an initial Pacers lead to take an eight-point advantage into the second quarter. The Timberwolves' strong performance continued, with Naz Reid contributing 17 points and Donte DiVincenzo adding 11 points off the bench.




The Timberwolves dominated the Pacers, never looking back after taking the lead. They stretched their advantage to 31 points midway through the fourth quarter, cruising to a comfortable win.


Ayo Dosunmu led the charge with 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting. Julius Randle and Bones Hyland chipped in with 19 points each, rounding out a solid team effort.


But Houston fought back, outscoring Phoenix 38-21 in the fourth quarter to seal the win. That result means the Suns will likely miss out on a direct playoff spot.


Toronto seized control early in the second quarter and never looked back, securing a comfortable win that solidifies their sixth-place spot in the Eastern Conference.


Scottie Barnes led the charge with 25 points, while Brandon Ingram chipped in 23. The Raptors (44-35) have three games left, holding a one-game lead over the seventh-place Philadelphia 76ers.


Miami's loss drops them into the play-in tournament, joining three other East teams fighting for two playoff spots. The Boston Celtics edged the Charlotte Hornets 113-102, putting them in a strong position for the No. 2 seed in the East.




Boston's win helps them solidify their position, with Jayson Tatum leading the charge with 33 points. The Celtics are looking strong heading into the final stretch.




The Los Angeles Lakers took a hit in their bid for the number three seed in the Western Conference, suffering a 123-87 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder at home. The Lakers were already dealing with injuries to Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, and they also rested LeBron James, making it a tough night for the team.




The Thunder dominated the game, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leading the charge with 25 points and 8 assists. Chet Holmgren also chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Lakers' Rui Hachimura was the top scorer with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
