FC Midtjylland will be without striker Mikael Uhre for the rest of the season in their two-horse Danish title race with AGF.

  

FC Midtjylland sit five points behind AGF in the Danish title race and will have to manage the final stretch of the season without striker Mikael Uhre.

Uhre picked up an injury before Sunday’s match against Brondby that now rules the striker out for the rest of the season.

“He was supposed to start against Brondby, but he picked up a bad thigh injury in the final training session and will be out for a long time. He won’t play again this season,” FC Midtjylland coach Mike Tullberg told Viaplay.

 

FC Midtjylland face league leaders AGF in a top-of-the-table clash on Monday. Six rounds remain in the Danish Superliga.
