Carrick's got the DNA, Amad Diallo's plea for permanent United boss...

Amad Diallo believes Michael Carrick is the right man to take charge of Manchester United permanently. The winger praised Carrick's leadership after a strong run under his interim management.

Carrick's guided Man Utd to seven wins in 10 games since taking over, with just one loss. Diallo thinks it's time to make it official.

Manchester United's Bright Outlook

Under the former United and England midfielder, the Red Devils look set for a Champions League comeback next season, currently sitting third in the Premier League with seven games to go.

“From a personal view, he's the right man. He has a lot of experience, he knows the club and has the DNA. His relationship with every player is very good,” Ivory Coast international Amad told reporters on Tuesday.

“Sometimes this kind of manager can bring the club where ‌they belong. It's not the players who decide, but my honest opinion is we're really happy to have Michael Carrick as a manager.”

“He knows how to talk ‌to us and we're going to try to take as much as we ‌can from him. It's been easier because he knows the place. It's been great to work under him,” he added.

Manchester United is set to host Leeds United at Old Trafford on April 13, 2026, at 8:00 PM WAT. Manchester United is currently third in the Premier League standings with 55 points, while Leeds United is 15th with 33 points.
