Belgium came from behind to draw 1-1 with Mexico in a friendly at Soldier Field in the US, extending their unbeaten run to 11 games ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

Mexico dominated early on, pushing Belgium's defense and took the lead in the 19th minute. A corner on the left flank led to Jorge Sanchez bundling home from six yards for his third goal for Mexico, edging them ahead.

Dodi Lukebakio's magic helped Belgium level, securing a draw.

Javier Aguirre's Mexico continued to impress after the lead, nearly doubling their advantage before the half-hour mark.

Julian Quinones had two great chances thwarted - his first effort superbly blocked, and his next shot from inside the box parried away by Matz Sels.

Rudi Garcia had plenty to consider at halftime, Belgium's lack of attack evident with just one attempt in the first half.

The Red Devils turned it around quickly after the break, leveling remarkably less than a minute in. Dodi Lukebakio scored with a majestic 20-yard finish, receiving a pass from Youri Tielemans and firing into the net.

The rest of the match was surprisingly low-key, with few chances created by either team.

Mexico's first-half intensity vanished after the break, while Belgium couldn't quite match their early spark post-Lukébakio's goal.

Both head coaches made a series of substitutions in the second half to try and shake things up, but in the end, the two teams couldn't be separated, settling for a 1-1 draw.

Mexico remains unbeaten in their last five matches, extending their streak with the draw against Belgium. They're next up against Ghana on May 22nd in a friendly, less than a month before the World Cup kicks off.

Belgium looks to bounce back from the draw, facing Croatia away on June 2nd in a crucial friendly before their World Cup campaign begins.
