Brandon Aubrey is now the highest-paid kicker in NFL history after signing a four-year, $28 million extension with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday.
The deal includes $20 million guaranteed and a $7.5 million signing bonus, averaging $7 million per year.

Brandon Aubrey became the highest-paid kicker in NFL history Monday, agreeing to a four-year, $28 million extension with the Dallas Cowboys.
The contract features $20 million guaranteed, a $7.5 million signing bonus, and a $7 million average annual salary.

Aubrey’s deal comes shortly after the Houston Texans signed Ka’imi Fairbairn to a new contract worth $6.5 million per year.
He joins teammate Dak Prescott as the highest-paid player at his position in the NFL. Prescott’s $60 million average salary is nearly nine times what Aubrey will earn.

Aubrey, 31, has played just three NFL seasons after stints in the USFL in 2023 and 2024, and in Major League Soccer before that. In those three years he became a three-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowler, emerging as the NFL’s top kicker.
His six field goals from 60+ yards are the most in NFL history, and his 88.1% field goal percentage ranks fifth all-time.
