Shane Baz has been impressing in Spring Training, allowing just three runs on five hits in 10.1 innings with 14 strikeouts and four walks. His teammate, Blaze Alexander, described his stuff as “electric.”


“We were ecstatic to acquire a pitcher of Shane's talent during the offseason and are thrilled we could come to a long-term agreement to keep him in Baltimore,” 
said Orioles Team President Mike Elias.




The Baltimore Orioles kicked off their 2026 season with a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday. Today, March 28th, they're looking to make it two in a row at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, with Kyle Bradish taking the mound against the Twins' Taj Bradley.
