Montreal Canadiens' Cole Caufield is on fire, scoring his 40th goal of the season in their win over the Boston Bruins. Meanwhile, Brayden Schenn got his first goal with the New York Islanders after being traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs, contributing to their win over Toronto.


Canadiens Edge Bruins 3-2 in Thrilling Matchup

Cole Caufield scored the game-winner with just 22 seconds left, netting his 40th of the season, as the Montreal Canadiens beat the Boston Bruins 3-2. The Habs improved to 37-20-10, while Pavel Zacha scored both goals for the Bruins, who now share the same record as the Detroit Red Wings (37-23-8). Both teams hold the top two spots in the Eastern Conference Wild Card.




Islanders Beat Maple Leafs 3-1, Snap Toronto's Streak

Brayden Schenn scored his first goal with the New York Islanders, netting his 13th of the season, and helped lead the team to a 3-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Islanders have now won four of their last five games and seven of their last 10, improving to 39-24-5. Matthew Barzal assisted on all three Islanders' goals, boosting his season total to 45 assists.



Wild Comeback to Beat Blackhawks 4-3 in OT

The Minnesota Wild rallied from 3-1 down to beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in overtime. Ryan Greene and Frank Nazar scored for Chicago, with Connor Bedard assisting both goals to bring his season total to 37 points. Mats Zuccarello scored the game-winner in OT, ending the Wild's four-game skid and boosting their record to 39-18-12. The Blackhawks fell to 25-30-12.



Predators Edge Jets 4-3 in Shootout Thriller

Jonathan Toews tied the game with 61 seconds left, but the Nashville Predators came out on top in the shootout, beating the Winnipeg Jets 4-3. Juuse Saros made 36 saves and stopped all three Winnipeg shootout attempts, while Ryan O'Reilly scored the winner. The Preds improved to 30-28-9, while the Jets fell to 28-28-11.



Blue Jackets Crush Hurricanes 5-1, Extend Point Streak

The Columbus Blue Jackets extended their point streak to 10 games, fueled by Charlie Coyle's four-point game, including a goal and three assists. Coyle's impressive performance marks his third four-point game this season. The Blue Jackets improved to 35-21-11, sitting one point behind the Bruins and Red Wings for an Eastern Wild Card spot. The Hurricanes dropped to 42-19-6.


Oilers Hold Off Sharks 5-3, Snap Losing Streak

The Edmonton Oilers rallied to beat the San Jose Sharks 5-3, getting their first win since losing Leon Draisaitl for the season. After the Sharks tied it up 3-3, Edmonton took control in the third with goals from Zach Hyman and Max Jones. The Oilers improved to 34-26-9, while San Jose slipped to 32-28-6.
