Lionel Messi led Inter Miami's stunning comeback, scoring twice to secure a 4-2 win over Orlando City in the Florida derby. The reigning MLS champions were down 2-0 at halftime but stormed back in the second half.

Orlando City dominated the first half, racing to a 2-0 lead with goals from Marco Pašalić and Martín Ojeda. However, Inter Miami's fortunes changed after halftime, with Mateo Silvetti scoring early in the second half to spark the comeback. Messi equalized in the 57th minute, and Telasco Segovia took the lead in the 85th minute. Messi sealed the win with a spectacular free kick in the 90th minute.

Marco Pasalic opened the scoring after 18 minutes, sweeping in a low finish from Ivan Angulo's cross after Miami gave away possession in midfield.

Orlando took a 2-0 lead six minutes later, thanks to a surging run from right back Griffin Dorsey, who laid off the ball to Argentine striker Martin Ojeda, who buried the finish.

Miami pushed hard for a goal, with Rodrigo De Paul and Messi both going close midway through the first half. De Paul's long-range shot was parried away by Orlando's goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau in the 28th minute, and Crepeau followed up with another great save to deny Messi.

The Orlando goalkeeper was on fire, keeping Miami at bay despite their best efforts. But it wasn't enough to stop the comeback – Miami rallied in the second half, and it was Messi who led the charge.

The game turned on its head after half-time – substitute Mateo Silvetti sparked the comeback with a stunning 25-yard screamer in the 49th minute, giving Miami new hope.

Messi equalized eight minutes later, picking up the ball on the edge of the area and unleashing a left-foot shot that flew past Crepeau, making it 2-2.

Messi led the charge, laying off a precise pass to Telasco Segovia, who finished into the corner to put Miami 3-2 up in the 85th minute. He then sealed the comeback with a stunning low, long-range free-kick that sneaked beneath Crepeau, making it 4-2.

Messi's incredible performance brings his MLS goal tally to 52 in just 55 games, showcasing his remarkable skill and consistency in the league
