Giampaolo, a seasoned coach with experience at top clubs like AC Milan, Torino, and Sampdoria, was previously in charge of Cremonese in the third-tier back in 2015. Most recently, he successfully guided Lecce to survival in Serie A last season. This new appointment brings hope to the struggling team, but with only nine games left, the challenge ahead is significant.

Cremonese started the season strong with an away win at Milan, and they only lost one of their first nine games, placing them in the top half of the table.
