Jens Odgaard scored a stunning 90th-minute winner as Bologna edged out Pisa 1-0, boosting their European qualification hopes. The Danish striker's left-footed shot from outside the box was unstoppable, securing a narrow Serie A victory for Bologna.
The match was a slow burn, with only one shot attempted by halftime. Bologna's Lukasz Skorupski made crucial saves to keep Pisa at bay, but it was Odgaard's moment of magic that ultimately decided the game. Pisa, struggling with a winless streak since November, pushed hard but couldn't find an equalizer.
The match was snoozing along until minute 24, when Santiago Castro had a sitter of a chance for the visitors. The Argentinian striker outmuscle his marker, got a clear shot, and... ballooned it over the bar! The away fans were gheartbroken.
After that, Bologna (Rossoblù) started playing like a different team, and they nearly took the lead 10 minutes before halftime.
Castro was in the thick of the action once more, latching onto a smart through ball from Nikola Moro, but his eventual shot from inside the box struck the woodwork to the hosts’ relief.
Pisa’s lack of threat in the final third before half time came as no surprise, considering the Nerazzurri had only scored a miserly four goals from their previous 13 home games in the league heading into this match.

The opening stages of the second half were a stale, scrappy affair. The game lacked pace and creativity, with both teams struggling to create clear-cut chances.
Yet the hosts finally created a big opportunity just after the hour mark when a close-range header from Stefano Moreo forced a vital save from Łukasz Skorupski to keep his side on level terms. The Polish goalkeeper was equal to the challenge, denying Moreo a goal.
With time quickly running out, Skorupski was needed again to brilliantly tip substitute Gabriele Piccinini’s strike around the post, as the hosts continued to show more urgency. Bologna's pressure was mounting, and they were pushing hard for the winner.

However, the Nerazzurri fans' hearts were broken when, out of nowhere, Jens Odgaard smashed the ball into the top corner from 25 yards out to win the game at the death for the Rossoblù. The Danish striker's stunning goal sealed a 1-0 win for Bologna, sending their fans wild and boosting their European qualification hopes.
Pisa's chances of avoiding relegation to Serie B are looking slim, with only one league win in 11 games left to play. On the other hand, Bologna is on a roll, having won five games in a row across all competitions, which has pushed them up to eighth place in the table.
