AC Milan secured a 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Derby della Madonnina, thanks to Pervis Estupinan's 35th-minute goal. This victory marks Milan's first league double over Inter since 2010/11 and cuts Inter's lead at the top of Serie A to seven points.
Inter had chances to equalize, but Milan's defense held strong. Henrikh Mkhitaryan had a one-on-one opportunity, but Mike Maignan made a crucial save. Inter continued to push, but Milan's solid performance earned them the win.

Milan's attack was quiet in the first 30 minutes, with their only notable effort coming earlier. Inter, meanwhile, struggled to trouble Mike Maignan, with Federico Dimarco's two shots the only noteworthy attempts - one was blocked and the other sailed over the bar.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan decided to take matters into his own hands when he picked up the ball on halfway and powered through the heart of the Milan defence and into the box, only to place his shot too close to Mike Maignan.
That chance sparked Milan into life. A minute later, they were ahead: Youssouf Fofana found Pervis Estupinan, who slammed the ball into the roof of Sommer's net.
The final minutes before HT saw Milan pushing for a second - Saelemaekers and Rabiot had chances, then Barella curled wide for Inter.
Only two of Inter’s previous eight matches saw both teams score, but despite that bad omen, the Nerazzurri came out battling after the break, as Piotr Zielinski forced Maignan into a near-post stop, before a deep cross found Mkhitaryan, who squared across the area to Dimarco, but he blazed over from 10 yards out.
Milan, meanwhile, were still looking for a killer second, turning to Rafael Leao, who pulled an effort across goal, and Fofana, whose fierce shot was spilt by Sommer before the goalkeeper recovered.
A driving run on the hour mark from Denzel Dumfries tied the Milan defence in knots but lacked the finish to match, and that would be the final effort on goal, as injuries to Rabiot and Alessandro Bastoni stemmed the flow of the contest.

Cristian Chivu’s side pushed for a late equaliser, but failed to carve out a real chance and saw a pair of penalty claims waved away.
The gap's now seven points with 10 games left. Milan's win ends Inter's eight-match winning streak in Serie A. Inter's form's been shaky - two wins in six games across all comps.
