Meanwhile, Kevin Durant made history for the Houston Rockets, scoring a season-high 40 points and becoming the sixth player in NBA history to reach 32,000 career points. He led the Rockets to a 113-108 win over the Orlando Magic, erasing a 19-point deficit in the third quarter.
The French superstar was 3-for-9 from the field, but converted all six of his free throws to finish with 12 points.
Wembanyama also contributed eight rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks, leading a balanced Spurs attack with seven players scoring double digits.
The Spurs' winning streak continues! They've won 11 in a row, with Stephon Castle contributing 18 points, De'Aaron Fox adding 14, and Devin Vassell chipping in 14 points. This marks their longest winning streak since the 2015-16 season.

Durant's second-half explosion, with 26 points, helped the Rockets overcome a 19-point deficit in the third quarter.
Durant's clutch play down the stretch secured the win, finding Alperen Sengun for a layup to put Houston up for good with 3:07 left. He then drained four free throws to ice the victory.
With this performance, Durant joined an elite group: he's the sixth player in NBA history to reach 32,000 career points, and he's still going strong at 37.

LeBron James had tied it with a put-back basket with 22.7 seconds left, but the Lakers came up short, dropping their third straight game. Grayson Allen led the Suns with 28 points, while Luka Doncic scored 41 for the Lakers.

Rookie Milestone — Rookie Record Broken
Tyrese Maxey made history for the Philadelphia 76ers, breaking Allen Iverson's franchise record for three-pointers with five makes in the team's 124-117 win over the Miami Heat.
Maxey finished with 28 points and 11 assists, hitting his fourth three-pointer of the game (with 1:38 left in the first quarter) to surpass Iverson's mark of 885 career three-pointers.
Maxey was on fire in the first quarter, scoring 20 points and adding another three-pointer to extend his record.
Joel Embiid led the Sixers with 26 points and 11 rebounds, and Philadelphia's big halftime lead (73-57) helped them fend off a Miami rally, with the Heat briefly taking a one-point lead before the Sixers closed it out.

Kon Knueppel made history for the Charlotte Hornets, setting the NBA rookie record for most three-pointers in a season. He hit eight three-pointers, accounting for the Hornets' 22 baskets from beyond the arc in their 133-109 win over the Indiana Pacers.

Knueppel broke the record in the third quarter with his 207th three-pointer, surpassing Keegan Murray's 206 from the 2022-23 season. He tied Murray's mark in the first half with his fifth three-pointer of the game. This eight-three performance ties his career high.
