“We have to believe, otherwise there's no point in playing the match...”

Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche, Lamine Camara, and Ansu Fati are facing fitness tests ahead of their Champions League clash with PSG. Coach Sebastien Pocognoli said Akliouche and Camara will undergo tests on Monday and Tuesday morning, while Fati's quadriceps injury is also being assessed.

The trio's participation is uncertain, but Pocognoli remains optimistic: “We have to believe, otherwise there's no point in playing the match.” Monaco's Denis Zakaria also emphasized the challenge ahead: “They're a great opponent, and it'll be difficult if we're not at 100%.”

“We have to believe, otherwise there's no point in playing the match,” Pocognoli told the pre-match press conference on Monday.

“I think the players are eager to put on a great performance tomorrow and give themselves ‌a chance for the return leg,” said the coach.

Monaco's on a high after beating Nantes 3-1, but skipper Denis Zakaria isn't getting too excited. PSG's loss to Rennes? “Not reading into that,” he says.
