England is gearing up for the 2026 World Cup with two friendly matches in Florida. Thomas Tuchel's team will take on New Zealand on June 6 and Costa Rica on June 10, with venues to be announced later. These games will help the Three Lions fine-tune their skills before facing Croatia, Ghana, and Panama in the World Cup.
The matches are part of England's preparation camp in south Florida, where they'll acclimate to North American conditions and refine their tactics. After these friendlies, they'll head to Kansas City, Missouri, their base for the tournament.
England's last match against Costa Rica was a friendly win in 2018. They also faced Costa Rica in the 2014 World Cup, where the two teams drew 0-0.
